| Welcome To The SMCPAAA! |

Formed in 1998 by graduates of the San Marcos Citizen Police Academy, the SMCPAAA assists with the continued education of CPA attendees and supports the SMPD through volunteer work and donations to the department for special projects.
The alumni association annually participates in Operation Blue Santa, Tax Free Weekend and Black Friday shopping days at the Outlet Malls, Community House Watch, and various other programs. Since early 2000, the organization has contributed over 6,000 volunteer hours.

Mission Statement
The mission of the San Marcos Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association is to promote and enhance the relationship between the community and the San Marcos Police Department through the advocating of continued law enforcement education of the Association, supporting and promoting special projects that strengthen the services provided by the San Marcos Police Department, and assisting the San Marcos Police Department in specific projects when requested by that organization.
