On September 13, 2008, Hurricane Ike, the third most destructive hurricane to ever make landfall in the United States, hit the shores of Galveston, Texas. Due to this unfortunate disaster, the TCPAAA convention needed to be relocated.
The San Marcos Police Department and the SMCPAAA agreed to the challenge of hosting the 2009 convention.
We welcome you to the 2009 Texas Citizen Police Academy Alumni and Law Enforcement Annual Training and invite you to enjoy San Marcos, “A Texas Natural.” While in San Marcos visit the Wonder World Cave, Historic Downtown and Victorian neighborhoods, Prime and Tanger Outlet Malls, and Aquarena Springs Park. Enjoy the San Marcos River and parks that make San Marcos the “Gateway to the Texas Hill County.”

-Registration form must be received by July 10, 2009 to allow time for shirts to be ordered.
-Registrations and payments received after July 10, 2009 must include a $10 late fee.
-All cancellations must be made in writing by July 24, 2009, and refunds are subject to a $10 fee.
